Jennifer Jones

Jennifer has spent her entire professional career in public relations. Prior to founding OUTHOUSE, she worked alongside Cynthia as the two woman PR department at American jeweler, David Yurman, running all pr and marketing for both the jewelry and watch divisions of the brand. In the seven years that preceded her moving over to the in-house side of PR, Jennifer worked for a NYC based advertising agency where she built and developed what became a flourishing PR and Event Marketing division of this agency. By the end of her time there, Jennifer was Vice President of Publicity & Special Events, having overseen and managed all US publicity and event marketing for OMEGA and Blancpain watches, and having supervised special projects for brands such as Ferrari, Hamilton, Swatch and cK/Calvin Klein Watches. Her earliest professional positions included ad sales at Wenner Media for Us and Men’s Journal and helping to launch a new independent record label advertising section in Rolling Stone, in addition to working in the promotions department at an adult contemporary radio station in Boston. Jennifer is an honors graduate of Boston College.

 

Cynthia Hornig

As a New York City native, Cynthia has spent over 20 years in the public relations and fashion worlds. Previous to starting OUTHOUSE and meeting Jennifer at David Yurman, Cynthia was the Public Relations Director for the European, luxury brand Wolford where she managed the brand’s media relations, retail consumer promotions and served as the company spokesperson featured on networks such as CNN, CNBC and Fox. Prior to her career in public relations, Cynthia spent many years as a women’s wear buyer at New York’s finest fashion establishment, Bergdorf Goodman. Here she learned the finer points of the retail luxury market while working with such brands as Badgley Mischka, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Escada. Cynthia began her career at mega retailer Macy’s East and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
